Summary  

Magenta at Clyde Gateway will be one of the UK’s most extensive office parks accessible to a workforce of over 2m within an hour. A satellite business district for Scotland’s largest city, it will offer up to 110,000 sq.m. of accommodation across 11 hectares on the banks of the River Clyde.  The location is first class – a riverside development  under 10 minutes from the city Centre, 15 minutes from Glasgow International airport, serviced by an upgraded train station and at the heart of the national motorway network.  The site can accommodate large floor plates, tailored to meet tenants’ bespoke requirements.

Background and Company  

Clyde Gateway was established in 2007/8 and is backed by direct funding from the Scottish Government.  Clyde Gateway is Scotland’s biggest and most ambitious regeneration programme.  Over £1.5 billion has been invested across the area, delivering 50,000m2 of business space, 2,500 homes and major road and rail infrastructure.   The legacy of hosting the 2014 Commonwealth Games includes outstanding sporting facilities at the Emirates Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.  Support for the local community is at the heart of Clyde Gateway with over 5,000 new jobs attracted to the area and over 25% of them going to local people.
